What a Difference a Dollar and Some Denim Make

The firm sponsors a year-round “wear jeans to work” program that invites employees to skip the suits for comfy clothes in exchange for $1 donations each day they choose to wear jeans. All proceeds from the program go to a local charity, which is selected on a bimonthly basis by the Community 1st Committee.

May 2010: We raised $396.52 for the Muscular Dystrophy Association.

April 2010: We raised $560 to benefit the March of Dimes.

March 2010: During March, firm members raised approximately $423 for the Lupus Foundation of America in honor of a coworker who has lupus.

February 2010: Firm members raised approximately $550 for their American Cancer Society's Relay for Life team.

January 2010: The firm raised $615 to benefit a co-worker’s family loss.

 November – December 2009: 14th and Chestnut Community Center
September – October 2009:  Terre Haute Humane Society (more than $878 raised)
July – August 2009: United Way Pilot Program (more than $1,000 raised)
